InfoRep. Casey Guernsey, a Republican, represents the largest House district in Missouri including Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Mercer, Sullivan, Gentry, and Worth counties (District 3) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Guernsey is a 7th generation Harrison County family farmer. He is involved in both the Dairy & Beef operations of the farm. Previously, Rep. Guernsey worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC in the office of then Majority Whip Roy Blunt and later Congressman Sam Graves as a policy analyst.

Rep. Guernsey attends Blue Ridge Christian Union Church. He is a member of the Trenton Chamber of Commerce as well as the Bethany Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. He also is a Bethany Rotary Board member and a board member for the Harrison County Farm Bureau. In addition, Rep. Guernsey is a member of the National Rifle Association.

Rep. Guernsey has received the Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates Public Service Leadership Award and holds an American FFA Degree.

A 1999 graduate of South Harrison RII High School, Rep. Guernsey received his B.S. in Business Administration from the College of the Ozarks in 2003 where he also served as a Student Body officer.

Born October 14, 1980 at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rep. Guernsey currently resides in Bethany. Other members of Rep. Guernsey’s family who have served in public service include Senator Charles Arthur Guernsey and Major General Richard Gentry, one of Missouri’s first elected officials.
