Representative Edward Mazurek, of Rockland is serving his first term in the Legislature. He is a member of the Transportation Committee.

A retired teacher and coach in Rockland, Rep. Mazurek is a graduate of Xavier University with a BSBA degree, as well as, receiving a MA from Fairfield University. He is a former member of the Rockland City Council and served as Mayor in 2003 and 2004. Rep. Mazurek has also served on the Recreation Advisory Board, Board of Assessment Review, was a Planning Board Member and Past Pres. of SAD #5 Teachers Association.

Representative Mazurek and his wife Maryellen have 5 children & 4 grandchildren.
