InfoRobert Kenneth Lindell Jr.

State Rep. (2004-2006)

Kenneth Lindell, 43, is a certified financial planner. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bates College in Lewiston and a certified employee benefit specialist degree from the Wharton School of Business.

A member of Maine’s 123rd Legislature, Lindell lives in Frankfort with his wife, Althea, and their three children ages 8 to 14.

“The next legislature must come to grips with controlling state spending by setting priorities and having the courage to say, ‘no’ to worthy projects that are not among the most pressing legislative priorities,” he said.

“I have signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge not to vote for any increase in taxes,” he added. “I believe that Maine brings in plenty of revenue, but legislators have lacked the discipline to deploy that revenue efficiently and effectively.”

Lindell said another challenge facing the next legislature is to finally come together with bipartisan reform of the state’s many failed efforts to provide decent and affordable health insurance coverage.

If elected, Lindell would use the $2,000 constituent service allowance given to each legislator to open a constituent office in District 41.

Sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2019 for defrauding two elderly widows
