College of Law (passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt), MBA from The Ohio State University,
Fisher College of Business.

Former Director of Legal and Government Affairs for International Warehouse Logistics
Association (IWLA) -Strong Experience and Understanding of How Washington Really Works.


He is a proven fighter that has beaten the odds before:

Grew up in a single parent home in the district, living in federally subsidized housing and
free lunches in rural Appalachia with three younger siblings. He was told he was “too poor”
to “ever go to college.”

Competed three seasons at the NCAA Division-III level Men’s Cross-Country Team.

Became a recognized publisher and author of Stranded: A Guide to Life Without Major
League Baseball and earned the reputation of an “industry expert” by the likes of: The
Street.com; USA Today; USA Today Sports Weekly and various other national media
sources.

Managed a restaurant in OH-2 with $1.6 million revenue and generated sales growth
above the company average.
