Chris lives in the Village of Trempealeau with his wife Kate and his two sons, Orion who is five years old and Rowan who is three.
Chris was raised in Marshfield, Wisconsin and graduated from Columbus High School in 1985. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, graduating with distinction. Chris earned a Master's degree in International Affairs from American University in Washington DC. Returning to Wisconsin, Chris received a Masters of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.
Chris is a Police Officer in the City of Onalaska, Wisconsin, currently assigned as the Police Liaison Officer for the School District of Onalaska. Chris investigates most juvenile crimes and is also responsible for law enforcement in the schools. Additionally, Chris is a member of the LaCrosse County Emergency Response Team and the Metropolitan Enforcement Group. Chris has received specialized training in special weapons and tactics, undercover drug investigations, child abuse investigations, gang interdiction, critical incident command and response as well as numerous other professional certifications. Recently, Chris received a departmental commendation for his response to, and investigation of, a series of bomb threats in the school district.
In his spare time Chris enjoys hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
