| Info | Both my parents worked for a cotton mill and I grew up in a mill village, housing built for mill employees. I can remember most nights going to bed before my parents returned home from work because of the mill work shifts. This was the sacrifice of my hard working parents to be good providers which has been instilled to me along with the values of living right.
I attended R.E. Lee Institute High School and I did not apply myself academically even though I had great caring teachers and coaches. However, I became a star athlete especially in football.
I lettered each year as a sophomore, junior and senior. Our small school football team was a powerhouse that defeated large schools from the Atlanta area and went on to win Regional Championships each year.

At the same time I was also in R.O.T.C. and was awarded “Outstanding Company Commander” in my senior year. After High School I joined the U.S. Navy that trained me as a Medic and I saw a large part of the world. I am a Vietnam War Veteran serving on the USS Biddle in 1969.
It was in the Navy that made me come to realize that I needed more education. My four year hitch ended in Pensacola, Florida in which I now earned the G.I. Bill for a college education.
In college, I set out to get a PhD. to teach and coach. I received a B.S. Degree from the University of West Florida. I also attended Gordon Jr. College, Pensacola Jr. College, Florida State University and University of Florida. I worked various jobs, including construction, to pay my bills. It was while working in the health club industry I began to focus on health and wellness.
In the late 1990’s I opened my first storefront location offering the public an education on nutrition and wellness. It was this strong desire to help people that lead to the procurement of a full line of name sake vitamin products. Of my many business decisions, I always demanded the best so my customers got the best. It was my drive to offer the public health and wellness through seminars, radio talk shows and television programs. The public demand for more locations was soon inevitable. Thus, adding more locations on the west coast of Florida.

Now after 12 years and customers all over the world, some may measure my personal success by my financial means, but I measure it by being an exemplary Natural Health Educator.
Our Country today needs leadership that always has the public in mind first, that will work with them for solutions to our problems. One that will be dedicated to keeping government spending accountable, knowing how each dollar was hard earned and paid by the taxpayer. To me, this would be the true meaning of public service.
