He initiated the Red Light Camera Safety Program to curtail speeding and enhance road safety in Wilmington. Other initiatives include the renovation of Stapler and Conaty Parks, creation of Conservation Districts, Street Improvement Repair Program, City of Wilmington’s seven million dollar Water and Reservoir Infrastructure Renewal Project and Cool Spring Reservoir Reconstruction Project.
Councilman recently returned from a tour of duty in the Middle East. He, along with his unit, the 945th Service Company (Collection and Classification) supported U.S. Forces in Iraq.
