| Info | Ward grew up in New York City and graduated with a bachelor of engineering from Cooper Union in 1979.
After graduating she began working at Procter & Gamble and has held management positions at Procter & Gamble's Mehoopany plant for 23 years, including being a department manager, she said.
After leaving Procter & Gamble several years ago, Ward began working as the secretary/treasurer for Standing Stone Township, a part-time position she has held for the past three years.
Ward has also worked the past four years as a part-time paid instructor for the Bradford/Wyoming County Literacy Program.
She also served on Laceyville's sewer authority for a number of years, during which time Laceyville's sanitary sewer system was planned, designed and constructed.
Last November (2005), Ward and her husband, Terry Ward, ran for the same township supervisor position in Standing Stone Township.
Terry Ward, a Republican, won the position, 72-30.
