InfoRep. Bill Deeken, a Republican, represents part of Cole County (District 114) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002.

Rep. Deeken has served three terms as the clerk of Cole County, Mo. He is chairman of the Care Leave Program, which administers a donated pool of sick leave for Cole County employees and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Missouri National Voters Registration Act (NVRA), and serves on the Legislative Committee for the Missouri County Clerks' Association.

A past president of the Parish Council of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Jefferson City, Rep. Deeken is a member of the following organizations: member of the steering committee,St. Peter Foundation Building and Committees; usher, lector, and member, Mens' Holy Name Society; president, Missouri County Clerks Association and Election Authorities 2001-2002; board president, Crossroads of Central Missouri, an organization dedicated to assist individuals with drug and alcohol problems; board of directors president, Jefferson City - Cole County Senior Nutrition Center Meals on Wheels Program; past president, Jefferson City Host Lions Club; past president, Cole County Republican Club; Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce; member of the Athletic Committee, Jefferson City Convention and Visitor's Bureau; board of directors Jefferson City Area United Way; committee member, Mike Kehoe Mid-America Great 8 Classic Basketball Tournament for Jefferson City Schools; Helias High School Booster Club; Eagles Club Aerie 2693; Elks Lodge # 513; Board of Governors, Capital Regional Medical Center; and Special Olympic Activities volunteer.

A graduate of St. Peters and Helias High School in Jefferson City, Mo. Rep. Deeken resides there with his wife, Irene. They have three children: Jim Deeken, Debbie Lehman and Jolene Struebbe, and ten grandchildren.
