InfoRep. Belinda Harris, a Democrat, represents parts of Franklin, Jefferson and Washington counties (District 110) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in November 2002.

In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Harris is a self-employed farmer. She also worked as a technical illustrator for McDonnell/Douglas in 1969.

Rep. Harris is a member or former member of the following organizations: Morse Mill Baptist Church; president, SHOW-ME (Safe Handling of Waste Managed Environmentally); athletic booster; leader, Missouri Stream Team; member, National Rifle Association; member, Washington County C-2000; Missouri Waste Control Coalition; Democratic Party; former member, Solid Waste Advisory Board; former Girl Scout leader and district organizer; former Cub Scout leader and Boy Scout assistant; former children�s church teacher; former Vacation Bible School director; and former PTA vice president at Grandview School. In 1989 she helped establish a glass recycling system, which she continues to maintain.

Born April 29, 1951 and a 1969 graduate of Webster Groves High School, Rep. Harris lives in Ware, Mo. with her husband, Edward H. Harris. They have two children: Racheal Ann and Benjamin.
