InfoSenator Kevin Engler, a Republican, was elected to the Senate in 2004. He represents the 3rd District which includes Carter, Reynolds, Iron, Washington, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and South Jefferson counties in the Missouri Senate. Prior to the Senate he served one term in the House of Representatives. (2003-2004)

In addition to his legislative duties, Senator Engler is a registered representative for Edward Jones. He also served six years as Mayor of Farmington, Mo., and one year on the city council.

Rep. Engler was awarded the Farmington Press Citizen of the Year award, the KFMO Super Service award, and the KREI 110% Service award.

He is a member of several Chambers of Commerce including Farmington, Twin City Area, DeSoto, Washington County, Bonne Terre, Desloge, Park Hills, Ste. Genevieve, Arcadia Valley and Ellington. He is also a member of St. Joseph Church in Farmington, the Farmington Lions Club and the Farmington Elks Club. Senator Engler has served as past president of Lions Club, Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce and St. Joseph's Parish Council.

A 1977 graduate of Festus High School, Rep. Engler earned degrees in finance/general business and marketing from Southwest Missouri State University in 1981.

Born June 23, 1959, in Festus, Rep. Engler resides in Farmington with his wife, Chris. They have four children: Aimee', Daniel, Andrew and Joseph.
