InfoChris Warkentin was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and was raised on the Warkentin family farm, East of Grande Prairie, near the Town of Debolt. After leaving home, Chris studied business and marketing at Grande Prairie Regional College. Chris currently owns and operates a custom home building company. Along with his business commitments, Chris remains very active in his community and volunteers with many organizations.

Chris has a lengthy record of political involvement. He has served on the board of his local constituency association for over eight years. Since the age of eighteen, Chris has been involved in the Reform Party, the Canadian Alliance, and now the Conservative Party of Canada. He has promoted and worked to foster initiatives, such as the Alberta Senate Elections, the United Alternative Campaign and several national party policy conventions. He is committed to local community outreach and electoral success in the next election.

Chris and his wife, Michelle, live in the Town of Sexsmith, Alberta.
