InfoBrian Storseth was born in 1978 in Barrhead, Alberta and has lived and worked throughout the province. Today he resides with his wife and daughter in the community of St. Paul.

Brian attended both the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta where he studied Political Science. While attending university Brian worked for the speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.

Brian`s hobbies include fishing in the many lakes of the Westlock- St. Paul constituency, golfing, competitive curling, and he is an avid sports fan.

Brian became the youngest councillor in the history of the town of Barrhead Alberta when he was elected to the position in 2001. During his active tenure Brian helped initiate numerous community infrastructure upgrades, including a multi-functional, intercommunity Arena that serves numerous surrounding communities, and hosts a variety of functions. Brian was also instrumental in the innovative upgrading of the town’s swimming and hockey facilities to new, more environmentally friendly levels as well as the upgrading of the towns baseball facilities.

In 2003 Brian moved back into the private sector and relocated to the community of St. Paul where he bought and operated a local Cooperators Insurance Branch.

Brian has long been an active member of conservative parties both federally and provincially.

In the January 23, 2006 Federal Election Brian was elected as the Member of Parliament for Westlock – St Paul. Brian is excited at the opportunity to work hard for Westlock- St. Paul as part of the new Conservative government under Prime Minister Stephen Harper and is committed to ensuring that the people of Westlock-St. Paul are well represented in Ottawa.

Brian is happily married to his wife Jennifer, and together they have a beautiful three-year old daughter named Ayden.
