InfoRep. Robin Wright-Jones, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 63) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Rep. Wright-Jones was elected to fill an unexpired term in March 2002. She is the executive director of the Ville Area Neighborhood Housing Association, Inc. In 1997 she served as campaign coordinator for Clarence Harmon�s first mayoral campaign, then joined Kuhlmann Design Group as vice president for government affairs. Rep. Wright-Jones also worked for 15 years in private property management and development and public housing administration. Prior to that she spent ten years as a classroom and substitute teacher for the St. Louis Archdiocese and St. Louis Public Schools, respectively.

An ardent community volunteer, Rep. Wright-Jones currently serves as chair of the Family Haven Shelter Advisory Council for the Salvation Army, chair of the Community Advisory Board for the State of Missouri�s Prince Hall Family Support Center and chair of the Community Education Council at Yeatman School for the St. Louis Public Schools. She volunteers on the boards of the National Neurofibromatosis Foundation of Missouri, Gateway Paralyzed Veterans, SafeFutures, William Harrison Center of the Forest Park Community College and the United Way Early Childhood Care and Education Panel. Rep. Wright-Jones is a past member of the Landmarks Association board and served as a facilitator for President Clinton�s One America Race Dialogue initiative. As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she served on the Habitat for Humanity committee that administered the construction of 15 new homes in North St. Louis.

Rep. Wright-Jones has worked in numerous campaigns over the past 30 years on the local, state and national levels and is an active member of the 6th Ward Democratic Organization in the City of St. Louis. She is an active member of the St. James A.M.E. Church in the Ville neighborhood.

Born January 31, 1950 in St. Louis, Rep. Wright-Jones is a 1967 graduate of Beaumont High School and attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Rep. Wright-Jones lives in the Eads Park subdivision of St. Louis� Gate District. She has two sons: Damon Alexander Jones and Adam Christopher Jones.
