|Info||I am a mother of four; two are in college (one a senior), and our youngest is a 9th grader at Hopkins West Junior High School. |
I graduated from Clark University, Worcester, MA, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology. I spent 18 years in business, beginning in the fashion industry, then working for Tonka Toys in toy marketing and ending my business career as vice president of marketing, Navarre Corp, an international distributor of music and software.
In 1999 I decided managing teenagers needed my full-time attention, and I have been home with my children ever since. In fact, I was featured in a TIME magazine article that talked about the growing trend of business executives who choose to stay home with their teenagers. Since being at home I have served on various boards, led sports organizations, toured children at the museum and immersed myself in our community.
