Info | Ross is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 38 from 2003 to 2013. She served as a Majority Whip and, at the time of her resignation, State House Deputy Minority Whip.
On May 1, 2013, Ross announced her resignation from the House to become general counsel for Triangle Transit. House Speaker Thom Tillis (R) announced on May 29, 2013 that Ross would officially leave on June 1, 2013.
Ross earned her bachelor's degree from Brown University in 1985. She received her law degree from the University of North Carolina Law School in 1990. She is an attorney, business ethics consultant and senior lecturing fellow. Ross is married to Steve Wrinn.
