| Info | Allen Mayer was elected in November 2004 and is serving his first term on the Board. He serves as Special Counsel to Illinois Comptroller Dan Hynes where, among other duties, he has worked to restore Springdale Cemetery, return surplus property taxes to homeowners, and preserve overtime rights for Illinois workers.
Mr. Mayer is a graduate of the Illinois Math and Science Academy and an honors graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois College of Law. He and his wife Carey have one son, Conrad. They are active members of First English Lutheran Church and involved in several local civic organizations including the Peoria County Democrats and the Junior League of Peoria.
