Apparently both of the stories will have to do with divorce. Trump says that early in their marriage the Obamas talked about divorce. Very lame. Allred will say a former business partner of Mitt went through a divorce and Mitt had to give a deposition. Possibly even lamer.

On the bright side this will probably drive Allred and Trump ever deeper into irrelevancy. So thats good

I wonder if Elizabeth Warren will suspend her campaign for a few days out of respect for one of her people. I guess since the tribe Means is from and the tribe Warren is not from are different she probaby won't.

Didnt watch it myself ( too bummed by the Rangers collapse ) but feel like its not a good format for Barry. He is more comfortable on the View surrounded by worshipping hosts who swoon at his every word. Not trying to be snarky, he's just not really a good debater where other people get to talk and challenge what he says

When I saw the headline I had a picture pop in my mind of a slave speaking behind a teleprompter telling everyone how smart he is. Of course, I'm sick and demented with an offbeat sense of humor

Its actually unconstitutional to have Pres and VP from same state so that probably rules out Miz Hillary and Little Andy running together

Zork hit on what I was going to say but we might have lost the battle but won the war. Roberts has the dems cheering for him while he put some teeth in the commerce clause and the 10th amendment. Its really amazing.

I'm no expert but this seems to leave Obamacare on pretty shaky grounds politically in some ways. The medicaid part of the ruling tears a lot of the financing away. The whole tax and not a fine aspect puts a lot of Dems in a real bind. Time will tell I suppose

Obama is probably in that 44%. He really doesnt seem to have a religion. Not being critical. Freedom of religion means you can have no religion at all. Thats just how he strikes me.

Honestly, I would rather someone just say I have no religion than espouse some religion and live by almost none of the beliefs

Instead of kissing him she should have whispered into his ear - "You are not good at presidenting, Barry." Dozens of people would have been killed in the ensuing landslide

As someone who has had several family members that have had breast cancer, I have always been an admirer of the Komen organization but they need to get themselves disentangled from Abortions R Us. Supporting that vile organization will only drag them down

What does Barry care if 179,000 good paying jobs dont get created. Let them go on food stamps and welfare. The main thing is he needs to appease the loony left so he can save his job.

And as usual you responded to tell me how stupid I am. Makes me wonder if its me or yourself you are trying to convince.

You should really give in to that little voice inside yourself and admit that Skippy is terrible at presidenting and will probably lose since he appears to have no clue as to how to address the downward spiral that his presidency is in.

No one running against the debacle that is the Obama administration is doomed. The man is just a disaster as president. If there is ever a year when a person like Ryan could win it is this year. Ultimately, I doubt he runs and if he does he has some significant obstacles to overcome, but it is possible

Should we tell them that tax policy has implications on housing prices or should we let them enjoy their ignorance?

Your reading comprehension needs fine tuning. I did not say that Carter was the last person to do it. He was, however, in my opinon the person who used it as his complete campaign. I agree that W. used elements of this strategy. The reason that I didnt use him as an example is because he actually had some accomplishments in the form of his response to 9/11, tax cuts and a pretty good economy in 2004. Most of the idiotic over spending came in his second term. The other reason I didnt use him as an example is that he pretty much ran a conventional campaign and the attacks on Kerry ( who served in Vietnam by the way ) came from outside groups and not the official campaign. What, if any, coordination there was between the campaign and the outside groups is another subject that can be argued on another day. Nevertheless the official campaign probably wasnt a whole lot more negative than your average incumbent campaign.

The other incumbent campaign that was run with a lack of accomplishments and depended on negative attacks on the challenger was the senior Bush in 92. I didnt use it because the candidate was terrible and the campaign was terrible so it doesnt really compare since I give Obama and his campaign credit that they will be considerably better than Bush's campaign was.

I also recognize that Obama is not unlikable like Carter was. But again, I never said that. I just said that was one of the things that helped Reagan win. I was basically pointing out that the kind of strategy that Obama is going to pursue doesnt leave much margin for error.

To Monsieur I will say I totally disagree that Romney is the strongest candidate. He implemented Obamacare in Mass. and cant run against Obamacare the way all other candidates can. To my way of thinking he is the weakest candidate and if he gets the nomination I am not sure even Skippy's lack of presidenting skills can save the GOP.

Yes. All that is preventing California from returning to its former status as the Golden State is higher taxes. Go for it, Cali. More jobs for Texas. Yoo-hoo!
