Lynch did win in the areas around Worcester, so Gold may have been going around there a bit

when the precinct results are finalized and posted, the results by state house district can be figured out, and i'd think that Dahill cost Collins this one

Bradley, once known as the “gangster mayor,” is awaiting retrial on corruption charges stemming from his last time in office. He was convicted and sent to prison nearly 10 years ago for misuse of thousands of dollars in public funds, but his conviction was overturned last year. He said he wants his job back, and insisted the city ran smoothly under his watch.

Barrow planned a campaign kickoff party later in the day, with plans of shooting a "Harlem Shake" video with supporters, 5:30 p.m. at St. Moran's Community Center, 11400 Kercheval St.

looking at his BoxRec record ( [Link] )... and his second to last fight, split decision loss, two 120-108 (Griffith 12-0) ballots for Emile Griffith and a 118-117 (DeNucci 3-Griffith 2-tied 7?) ballot for DeNucci.

So there's twilight zone decisions in boxing. That might be one of the weird ballots that ultimately didn't determine the fight.

it's far from universal, but it seems like things grind to a halt in the late afternoon/evening, but have varying degrees of success outside of there. I'm not sure what sort of weight the DBs put the servers on, and how much of it is due to the size and how much is due to the settings of the server.

Or maybe things just grind to a halt when people try to actually do anything involving candidates/races. Also not sure if the front-page is trying to load stuff off of lots of sources at the same time (sort of like when you try to restore a web browser with multiple tabs and they all try loading at the same time)

yeah, the first profile is now Stephen O'Shea [Link] . I guess I wasn't sure if her being dropped by the NDP means she wouldn't be a candidate at all or not.

I turned the other two Fliss Butcher's into other candidates, so switch the party affiliations for them [my source, Adam Carr, didn't actually list affiliations]

(one thing that happens while entering stuff during site disruptions is that some press enter over and over and duplicate candidates)..

this is an "Is it just me or" question -

While entering races, after entering someone new, if you hit back, it takes you to a cached version of the back page. It seems like the norm pre-April used to be that hitting back leads to a "page expired, please refresh" thing.

I'm not sure if this has been noticed by anybody else, or if it's something in our browsers, or in the site design.

Also not sure if caching pages has any impact on the performance of the site. Like if doing that puts pressure on the MySQL or clogs things up until something eventually unclogs the site for a moment or what.

So maybe it's something that had been a setting on the old servers that didn't carry over or what.
