Ok, so let's say Wilson doesn't run here. Does she survive her House race in 2008? If so, does she win the Senate seat in 2012? There'd be no Heinrich. Whom does she run against? Balderas? Surely more Democrats would run. Lujan?
Maybe we can stop fapping to PPP now too. They're not the worst polling firm in the world or anything, but the three polls before them in the 'matchup polls' section were all more accurate, and two of those got the exact margin.
I don't think it's right to call Nevada a blue state just yet. They one senator of each party, two Congressmen from each party, a governor and a state legislature of different parties, and they've picked the winner of the presidential election since 1976.
I think internet message comment boards validate my low opinion of human nature. When people are anonymous, they're *******s. Every thread quickly turns nasty, and usually racist. I don't think these people are actually racist themselves, they're just griefers.
I'm interested in what Harry Reid does after 2014 if Democrats lose the Senate. Does he stay on like Pelosi? He will have been Democratic Leader for 10 years. That's a long time. He already said he would run again in 2016, but that kind of stuff doesn't mean anything. He wouldn't just resign though, because his successor would be a Republican.
