I am a long -time user and have contributed over 8,600 races results. I had been off for a while and when I got back on, my ability to add or edit race results was gone. In addition, my old password was invalid and I have been using temps to log on. How can I get my old status back and get my password valid again?
Thanks

You created an bio for Experience Estabrook who celebrates his birthday today. His Political Strange Names blog entry ishttps://politicalstrangenames.blogspot.com/2011/07/experience-estabrook-1813-1894.html
The author doesn't have a search feature on his blog, but you can use the blogger search to accomplish the same.
Have fun. Its a great blog.

Hi Brent - thank you for the reminder about this blog! I have been to it sporadically but actually not in a few years now. It has risen in Google searches when I have been researching candidates online.

Hi Mr. Agun,
I'll delete the address except for the city.
Also, information like your address is retrieved using public sources: https://docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/forms/P00011536/1328290/

Wow RP - several people have tried this today (I also posted it elsewhere) but you are the first one to figure it out. Congratulations!
Like the clock-calculator-bulb puzzle, to get the "right" answer, you have to accept an assumption that is not specifically stated.

It's not really like the clock-calculator-bulb type of puzzle as those tricked you be having the images themselves be slightly different so they were actually compound variables instead of single ones. Though I briefly considered that you left the barrier islands off the NC coast in the second equation, but I couldn't figure out what that could possibly mean.
It could probably be done with a brute-force number substitution approach, though I'm not sure there can't be other solutions to it that way.
But I solved it by hacking YOU. I know what you like and after considering a couple others I found the one that fit like a glove.

Haha!
Yes, the alternate NC depiction was intended to serve that very purpose.
I actually thought this was easier than it turns out to be.

I also almost gave the alternate answer instead, but thought that would give too much away for others.

You should add +2 to the last equation, then the answer can be South Carolina.

That is a very intriguing thought! I have about a dozen people working on it right now, so maybe I will give them some time to work on the existing puzzle before amending it.
If I have time, I might try to work up another one for next week. Maybe the next one will be easier.

Okay I got 6 too. Makes sense. Very clever.
I started with another approach based on a calculation involving geography, but when I started to need to take out a pencil and paper it wasn't consistent with you saying this could be solved quickly. I course corrected and took the right approach to solve.

My sister just solved it at the other place where I posted it. She almost certainly had to look up the information needed to solve it because this is not one of her interests. Still, she solved it quicker than two college history professors.
