Oh I believe it, but it's not for the reason(s) you might suspect. It's merely a fundamental aspect of Libertarianism (although I do identify w/ the Republican Party.)
P.S. Thanks for the welcome La Fayette!

Thanks, OT, I appreciate that. It's always a pleasure to have an educated discussion with someone who's thoughtful and level-headed like yourself.

Why the hell did you just endorse Lindsey Graham, who is the exact opposite of everything you claim to believe?

Not everything. As much as I'd like every public official to agree with me, it's not realistic and isn't compatible with the current political environment.
I have two peak concerns in the current political landscape: fiscal policy and somewhat of a willingness to compromise (within acceptable bounds) to get stuff done. That said, I think it's a good idea to have a few guys like Graham in the Senate who will work with the administration and other Democrats to write legislation. The idea of a strictly no-compromise candidate like Mourdock or Akin was staunchly rejected this election. Like it or not, the fact is we've got four more years of Obama and at least two more years of a Democratic Senate. As much as I like guys like Paul and Lee, Graham has shown willingness to work with Democrats to cut spending. That, I think, counts for something.

Oh I see, so you care more about saving money than all those children Graham voted to murder. That's precisely why I'm not a Republican.

That's pretty ironic coming from someone who's pro-choice.
