The Revolution of 1800 brought the Presidency and Congress into the hands of the Democratic Republicans. However, it has always bothered me that everyone assumes that the House races were decided on the same date as the presidency. I have completed a timeline of the 1800-1801 U.S. House races, which has some interesting findings.
