BBC Constituency Profile:
The Aberconwy constituency was created in 2010, mainly from the old Conwy constituency. One of the main differences is that the city of Bangor is not within the Aberconwy boundary.
It is the smallest constituency in Wales and England in terms of population, with around 56,000 people. Its biggest town is the seaside resort of Llandudno which is the birthplace of Wales' most-capped footballer Neville Southall. The magnificent Conwy castle was built for Edward I in the 13th century and is now one of the area's main tourist attractions.
Since 1950 Conwy alternated between Labour and Conservative. In 2010 Guto Bebb won the new Aberconwy seat for the Conservatives with 35.8% of the vote. Labour came second with 24.5%, Liberal Democrats third with 19.3% and Plaid Cymru fourth with 17.8%.
