Well that is definitely an out-of-the-blue endorsement.

Weird to see Rendell and Clinton side differently in a PA race. The only explanation I can think of is that Murphy was one of Obama's first supporters in 2008 and was a huge surrogate for him in SEPA, but that's it and even that is a stretch.

What did Patrick Murphy do to piss off Bill Clinton?
Support Obama in a very aggressive way in the 2008 primaries. But again, that is pretty much the only thing I can think of.

Clinton always endorses Hillary supporters over Obama supporters in primaries, doesn't he?

Correct. Bill Clinton has been a sour grapes-type endorser for years now.

It won't matter. Murphy's run a fairly effective campaign which is all he's needed to do to get the nom.

The two important things to know regarding this...
1. Murphy will win the primary.
2. The Republican will win the General.

What is David Freed in name recognition compared to Murphy. Also, I haven't seen anything from the Republicans on Freed or even attacking Murphy or Kane. It's odd for them not to have any sort of television presence even when their primary isn't in doubt.

It doesn't matter. He has an R behind his name running for AG.
And as you said to me in a smart-ass manner ... "That's how it is here, User#1802. Living here, you should know that by now."

The Dems seem to have a great shot here, but they also did in 2004 with Eisenhower. If I had to guess, I'd pick either Dem to win, but it's tough to be too confident considering the Dems' history here.

Don't know the exact date but there you go. Interesting we haven't seen a Murphy internal.

Apparently this has become a tossup. If Murphy loses this he can just wrap it up on his future political career for all intents and purposes.

Does anyone know where the votes are coming from? Didn't know if places like Philadelphia have reported a sizable portion of their votes.

Always thought Murphy had an okay to good shot at retaking the House seat. This was a bad move.
