Description This was the last Republican National Convention with fractional voting in the Vice Presidential ballot.

At the end of the ballot, Curtis was 19.25 votes short of a majority. Pennsylvania switched its 75 votes from Edward Martin to Curtis, and the convention immediately declared him the nominee.
