The best time to be popular is election day. But the second best time to be popular is when your opponents are deciding whether to run.

It's quite possible that this monster lead is temporary, due to the recency of the hurricane and his party line-breaking kind words about Obama just before the election. But I have always seen Christie winning a second term, and see no reason to doubt that now.

A year out, the post-Sandy bump is more important for its scaring off potential first-tier opponents than it permanency anyway.

Christie is destroying all the potential democratic candidates. I highly doubt any serious candidate would be dumb enough to challenge him.

This isn't really a surprise, but again this is Christie's Race to lose, if continues with this new found tone he's probably got re-election in the bag.

Even Frank Lautenberg was heaping praise against Christie in the papers, stating that he doesn't think the man can be beaten. That's pretty telling, especially given what a cranky, awful, partisan old man Lautenberg is.

Does Bono seem the likely nominee if Sweeney or Booker don't run?

I don't think Bono is going to be the nominee, he still hasn't found what he's looking for.

Oh come on. Asking to endorse him multiple times is just begging for a fat joke. Do you really want to go down that road?

The seatbelt curse will now claim a second person.
If you don't wear it, you will run in a race and lose to a fat man.

Is it possible Buono's running here so she can make a play as the gutsy, liberal warrior in the 2014 Senate primary?
