For Civil Beat to be so right about the District 2 race, they were incredibly wrong about this one. That's pretty surprising to be more right in the harder district to poll as compared to the whole state of Hawaii.

Quite a beatdown for Case here. Only four more years until his next humiliating run for the Senate.

This result provides an interesting contrast with the last time Hirono and Case faced off in a Democratic primary, 10 years ago. The difference reflects well what has happened in their careers in the past decade: [Link]

maybe putting the results by state house district (will be available in a few weeks) may lead to something interesting (IOW, Hirono not winning every district)
