Libertarian leadership has decided that "TANSTAFC" and they're going to start charging members who want to attend the National Convention.
The cheapest package is about $100 and the most expensive is something like $800
Aaron Starr defended the need to gouge Libertarian wallets by saying that $25 a year doesn't sustain both a party and a convention.
If I bought my plane tickets, picked a low quality hotel, stayed at the convention and at the hotel the whole time, lived off of peanut butter sandwiches for the week and purchased the "TANSTAFL package" for $100, I'd still be paying something between $800 - $1,200. What the Hell is that?
I understand that delegates to the GOP pay about $2,000 when it's Convention time, but consider the vast difference in quality of the two Conventions.
