Description |
The National (Prohibition) Party held its 2d and last National Convention in the Carnegie Lyceum in New York City. There were about 100 delegates present.
The convention nominated Donelson Caffery LA for president and Archibald M. Howe MA for vice president. It is not known if the men declined to run, but they did not appear on the ballot in any states.
Edward M. Emerson received some votes for president on the party's ticket.
