Description |
Gary Guear and Linda Greenstein won election in 1999 by upsetting a pair of Republican incumbents, and held on in 2001 against the same pair.
They can't rest on their laurels in this Mercer County based district, as those districts are notorious volatile, especially in strongly Republican years. (Mercer and Middlesex counties accounted for the bulk of the GOP's 1991 gains.) Hard work and a little luck can push this borderline Dem district right back into the GOP column.
