Hey Dale, I don't know if you've read his 29 County Strategy or not but it's worth a read:
http://www.axfordforchair.org/vision.htm#county
Also, he was interviewed yesterday for about a half hour - you can hear it online at http://www.axfordforchair.org/index.htm#radio
He was interviewed by a conservative Democrat (he made that clear). I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

You just need to post a bit more to get increased access. To avoid the occassional troll coming to the site and causing merry havoc (since we do have alot of election data on the site members have editing access to), we set the access for newbies at the lowest level, and once they show they are okay and are not going to do anything bad we up their access.
I just voched for you, so you should get access upped in a few minutes, once you do, you'll notice (once you refresh the pages - the site sometimes 'sticks' for lack of a better word, in both IE and Firefox) on the red buttons that say endrosements/news/etc there is either an "ADD" or "EDIT" button. You can add yourself by just clicking the yourself button, or add fellow people/and or media by following the prompts.
Adding new people or media/groups is also pretty paint by numbers if an existing person isn't in the database (you can look up by last name etc).
Utah actually has a quiet a bit of data entry done to it since there is four current site members that currently, or have lived in Utah. Though saying that, most county level races outside of SLCo still don't have anything in it - the great thing about the site is it is a constant work in progress. Site building can be very theraputic! LOL
Heh. Well I properly said enough, so I'll let you digest it all for the moment, but if you do have issues you cannot work out, feel free to ask for help, we love to help!

Thank you oh so very much for your help! I really appreciate it. I am not only Craig Axford's campaign manager but also his webmaster and was looking through the traffic reports when I found this site. I think it's fabulous! Craig has an internet outreach team working on forming better internet communication on the State website and the plan will be submitted to the central committee members regardless of who wins - If Craig does win, I want to be sure that this site is linked on the State site!

He was interviewed by a conservative Democrat (he made that clear). I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
I was that conservative Democrat that interviewed him :)
But, with all else aside, I have two reasons that I support Holland.
1. Because he was endorsed by Todd Taylor. I wanted Todd to run for chair. But if there is any chance of him being ED again, then I will take that.
2. I am worried, and I think that many people are worried, about two former Green Party candidates in 2002 running as Chair and Vice Chair of the Democratic Party. I would say that I am one of the most conservative Democrats in the nation, but I am a Democrat.
And not only does the fact that they were two Green Party candidates that worries me, but if they were party of another 3rd Party that wasn't so darn liberal, I would look at what they want to do.

Gotta say - during this campaign I got to know many of the candidates and both Wayne and Rob are really great guys. They both exemplify integrity and I was proud to endorse and vote for them on the 2nd ballot. I was thrilled not to be disappointed twice that day!

If you by chance have access to the actually first round numbers, could you post them here so we could enter them into the site? That would be great!

I'll see what I can do about securing those numbers. I wasn't witness to the actual count but know someone who was. :)

Cool. Plus candidates should all have a copy of the numbers so at the worst Craig and Laura should have a copy.
That is the one thing I don't agree with the UT Demos on when I was involved - the GOP are quiet open with final numbers but the Demos are less so. Well that and IRV for internal elections (which the GOP also has!!!)

I found the results for the last ballot
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,600132238,00.html
Holland beat out Jan Lovett, who ran for the Utah House from West Jordan in 2004, in the final round by just 25 votes, 377-352
