| Description | Ruling coalition of parties allied to President Macky Sall. The coalition dominated the presidential elections of 2012 and 2019, as well as in the legislative elections of 2012 and 2017. Coalition features Sall's Alliance of the Republic (Alliance pour la République, APR), the Alliance of the forces of progress (AFP) and the Socialist Party (PS). Coalition was led by Senegal's Prime Minister (July 6, 2014 to May 14, 2019) and current Secretary General to the President (since April 6, 2019) Mahammed Dionne. Benno Bokk Yakaar means “United by Hope” (Unis par l'espoir). |
