DescriptionThe People's Party of Furness (also known as the Socialist People's Party) is a left-wing local party in Furness, England. It was created in 1995 by a group of Labour Barrow-in-Furness borough councillors in response to Tony Blair's third-way ideology.

They have had success in keeping a few seats on the borough council, but have been unable to compete to date at higher levels.
