DescriptionConservative 'catch-all' meta-party supporting tax relief and price controls, and opposing trade agreements on the basis of protecting 'food sovereignty'. Party is led by economist, oft-time presidential candidate and San José MP Walter Muñoz Cespedes (who since May 1, 2021, leads a faction of the party). Party membership was augmented when the New Patria party merged with it before dissolving itself in November 2018. Party witnessed its largest support ever under 2018 presidential candidate Juan Diego Castro and picked up 4 seats in the 57-member Assembly [Partido Integración Nacional (PIN)].
