Description | Since his abrupt exit from the presidential race, Gov. Scott Walker has remained tight-lipped about his political future.
He has dismissed suggestions that he could run for U.S. Senate in 2018, or that he could take a Cabinet position if a Republican candidate wins the White House in 2016. But he's refrained from saying much of anything about whether he'll seek a third term as governor or whether he would seek the vice presidential nomination if asked.
On Wednesday, addressing state business leaders at the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce "Future Wisconsin" summit, Walker hinted at plans to run for governor again in the future, closing his speech by mentioning this term "and whatever terms I might be blessed to serve thereafter." |
