Atlanta-area sheriff under investigation for shooting woman at model home

| Description | GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A female real estate agent is in critical condition after being shot by Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill inside a suburban Atlanta model home and is allegedly refusing to cooperate with the investigation, the media is reporting.
Authorities say the shooting happened along Britt Trail Drive in the northern Atlanta suburb of Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County around 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
Gwinnett County is located immediately north of Atlanta while Clayton County is just south of the city.
According to police, Hill refused to answer any of their questions.
According to FOX 5, the sheriff was familiar with the woman who worked for the new subdivision. However, there is no word as to what precipitated the violent episode or why Hill was inside the home at the time of the shooting. He was off-duty at the time. |
