DescriptionCharles Catrillo, 58, Jersey City's director of economic development and a former state assemblyman, died early yesterday afternoon after suffering a massive heart attack at his home in the Heights.

One of the county's most prominent Republicans, Catrillo continued to serve as a local party leader long after he left office in the late 1980s.

He was elected in 1985 to the state Assembly, representing the 32nd District, which includes the northern portion of Jersey City, North Bergen, Secaucus, Kearny, Harrison and East Newark."
