DescriptionAdult film actors and producers have just been dealt an industry-rattling blow with the passing of Measure B.

Measure B, the Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Act, was voted into law by citizens of Los Angeles County. The measure requires adult film producers to obtain permits from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The act also requires that actors use condoms for all acts that involve anal or vaginal penetration during filming, and that the public health permit be posted along with a notice to the actors regarding condom use. Adult film producers must also provide a written exposure control plan, detailing how they will enforce the new law.
