Description | Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani tore into President Barack Obama this weekend, calling for the president to resign over his failed economic policies, the terrorist attacks on the U.S. consulate in Libya, and even for campaigning after Hurricane Sandy.
"He should resign!" Giuliani told a revved up crowd of Mitt Romney supporters in Ohio. "He told us he would resign if he did this poorly! Do you remember that?"
"He lied!" Giuliani continued. "He has been a disaster. The worst president for our economy in our lifetime. He doesn't want a second term. He wants a second chance, because he screwed it up the first time."
It was a fiery speech for the former mayor, who until now has taken a relatively low-key approach to his role as a Romney surrogate. But he doubled down on his insistence that Obama resign in a CNN interview, saying that Obama had failed the test of leadership posed by Hurricane Sandy
