Description"The one and only vice presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden (Democrat) and Congressman Paul Ryan (Republican) will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Vice presidential debates rarely have much impact on the outcome of a general election, but they have had their share of entertaining moments. Who can forget Lloyd Bentsen humiliating Dan Quayle with his "you're no Jack Kennedy" line in 1988? Or James Stockdale's shaky performance in 1992? Or Sarah Palin's winking in 2008?

One way to make watching a debate even more entertaining is by adding large quantities of alcohol. So what follows is the unofficial 2012 Vice Presidential Debate Drinking Game (not affiliated with any candidate, political party, or committee).

The debate is being held in Danville, Kentucky. Take a sip every time Ryan (who is from Wisconsin) or Biden (who is from Delaware) try to suck up to the debate audience by telling some inane personal anecdote about the Bluegrass State.

If moderator Martha Raddatz's 'blonde' hair is showing dark roots, take a sip.

Every time Biden inappropriately uses the word "literally," take a sip.

Every time Biden says "GM is still alive and Osama is dead," roll your eyes and take a sip."
