Palm Beach County Dem Chair says Christians want to slaughter Jews

| Description | "Barely more than 24 hours before President Barack Obama takes the stage to chants of "four more years" at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, Palm Beach County Democratic Chairman Mark Alan Siegel has come under scrutiny for making inflammatory comments about religion, typically a hands-off zone during convention week.
In a Youtube clip posted on several sites, Siegel told The Patriot Update that he doesn't think Christians are true friends of Jews.
"I'm Jewish," he told The Patriot Update. "I'm not a fan of any religion other than Judaism. The Christians just want us to be there so we can all be slaughtered and converted and bring on the second coming of Jesus Christ."
Siegel was wearing a "Jews For Obama" pin while talking to Patriot's Scottie Hughes.
"The worst possible allies for the Jewish state are the fundamentalist Christians," he told her.
Not surprisingly, the comments spread rapidly around the Internet Wednesday night and could make for an interesting news cycle Thursday in the hours leading up to Obama's speech that will cap off the convention." |
