| Description | Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, outspoken sponsor of anti-immigrant legislation in Congress, has likened the picking of new emigres for America to the breeding of hunting dogs.
The monitoring group americanbridgepac.org picked up King’s lecture to constituents in Pocahontas, Iowa, in which the congressman mused on desired characteristics of hounds and immigrants. He said:
“You want good bird dog? You want one that’s going to be aggressive? Pick one that’s the friskiest . . . not the one that’s over there sleeping in the corner.” |
