DescriptionMoscow. April 4. Interfax - The Party of sexual minorities will be registered in Russia until the end of the year, according to the founder of Moscow Pride, Nikolai Alekseev.

"Until the end of the year will be held the founding congress and the process of registration in the Ministry of Justice. Working title of party - "Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgenders and heterosexual supporters" We include heterosexuals, so we are not accused of discrimination"- said N.Alekseev" Interfax ".

Such a decision, he explained, was taken because "In Russia, no political party is not properly represents the interests of the LGBT community." "We have to go into politics to defend their rights, so that in Russia there was no place for discrimination and intolerance," - he said.

The party's program is not limited only to the rights of sexual minorities - they will also consider environmental and social problems. Perhaps the party will advocate for the legaliztion of euthanasia.

"Membership in the party is open to all regardless of sexual orientation or any other personal characteristics were. Our main goal - is to promote diversity and tolerance in Russian society," - said N.Alekseev.

According to him, at least 10% of Russians are ready to support the party.

Alekseev says that inhabitants of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Leningrad and Ryazan, Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Lipetsk, Tula, Rostov, Voronezh oblasts, the Komi Republic, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk territories, Bashkiria, a number of other regions had expressed their wish to join the party.
