Description | Former US Rep. Cynthia McKinney says she's running for her old 4th Congressional District Seat as a Green Party candidate, according to a news report Sunday.
McKinney was a Democratic member of Congress from 1992 to 2002, as well as from 2004 to 2006. She moved to the Green Party, where she ran for President in 2008.
To qualify for the ballot, she will need to collect signatures from five percent of the registered voters in the district, or 18,860 signatures. |
