Description | While most people were watching the the GOP Presidential race make its way through 10 new states on Super Tuesday, another equally important event was occurring in Ohio.
The Buckeye State was having the nation’s first Congressional primaries of the 2012 cycle, and partly due to redistricting, two incumbents lost hard-fought primaries.
Representative Dennis Kucinich lost against fellow Representative Marcy Kaptur in a Democratic primary necessitated by Ohio’s stagnant population growth reducing the delegation from 18 members to 16 members after national reapportionment. |
