President Bush's job approval rating among Wisconsin voters dipped slightly to 48% who say he's done a "good" or "excellent" job, according to results of a new poll released Wednesday.

Though the ranking has changed only slightly over the past eight months, it was Bush's lowest since March 2002, when the Badger Poll first began asking the question, and the first time it's fallen below 50%.

The new poll also found that favorable ratings for U.S. Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards have risen, while that of former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean has fallen. All are candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination in Wisconsin's Feb. 17 primary.
