Description | "A majority of Americans don’t think President Obama will win his reelection bid, according to a new poll released Monday.
Fifty-five percent of those polled expect the Republican nominee to win in 2012, while 37 percent expect Obama to win a second term, according to the survey from ABC News/Washington Post.

Of those surveyed, 54 percent of independent voters indicated they believe the eventual GOP nominee will beat Obama. That number won’t necessarily translate into votes by the crucial independent demographic; however, it does signal an early lack of confidence as Obama begins to ramp up his reelection efforts.
