'Survivor' star Rupert eyes run for [IN] governor's office

Description | Rupert Boneham, the Indianapolis man who became a celebrity thanks to a 2003 stint on the reality TV show “Survivor,” is exploring a run for governor of Indiana.
Boneham filed papers with the the Indiana Election Division this week to form an exploratory committee to run as a Libertarian.
A campaign spokesman, Sean Shepard, said Boneham is not doing interviews at this time. But on his campaign website, www.rupertforgovernor.com, Boneham said that he will make a final decision about running for governor in the next several weeks. |
