| Description | Interrupted while watching a CNN "American Morning" segment hosted by Ali Velshi, I hit the "pause" button so as not to miss the interview he was conducting with GOProud Chairman Chris Barron.
When I returned, the "freeze frame" showed a snarling Velshi beside the gay man who could have passed for a Marine, a corporate CEO, a teacher, a nurse, or anything else in the range of American careers.
It soon became apparent that Barron was there not to explain a point of view, but to be a victim of the host's single-minded purpose.
"A conservative group that also supports gay rights wants to meet with presidential candidate Michele Bachmann," Velshi began. |
